Deze pagina brengt een app van niets tot een kaart op je eigen account. De voorbeelden hieronder volgen in elke taal dezelfde stappen.

Een OAuth-client aanmaken

Een app is een OAuth-client met een manifest, dus begin met een client. Maak er een aan op de pagina OAuth-clients van de console en geef hem de API-rechten die je app nodig heeft, zoals het lezen van lesplannen. Met zijn client-ID en geheim kan je server de Lingara API aanroepen als je app. Bewaar ze in de omgeving van je server.

Het manifest bouwen en uploaden

Het manifest beschrijft je app aan Lingara:

  • zijn naam en beschrijving, in een hoofdtaal, met optionele vertalingen;
  • render_url, het HTTPS-adres waar Lingara verzoeken naartoe stuurt;
  • de slots waarin zijn kaart mag verschijnen;
  • de context die hij vraagt te zien, waarmee de leerder bij de installatie instemt (zie Context en toestemming);
  • de API-rechten die hij nodig heeft, die zijn OAuth-client al moet hebben;
  • of hij een notitie aan de tutor mag meegeven (zie De tutornotitie).

De kit bouwt het manifest als JSON en controleert het tegen de regels die een upload toepast, zodat een fout eerst op je eigen machine zichtbaar wordt. Kies op de pagina Apps van de console je client, maak er een app van en upload het bestand.

Een ondertekeningsgeheim aanmaken

Maak op dezelfde pagina een ondertekeningsgeheim aan. Het wordt één keer getoond. Geef het via de omgeving aan je server en commit het nooit in versiebeheer. Lingara ondertekent er elk verzoek aan je app mee, en de kit weigert een verzoek waarvan de handtekening niet klopt. Een app kan twee geheimen tegelijk hebben, zodat je er een kunt vervangen zonder downtime: zolang er twee actief zijn, wordt elk verzoek met beide ondertekend.

Een renderfunctie schrijven

Je renderfunctie ontvangt een verzoek en geeft een kaart terug. Het verzoek noemt het slot, de taal van de leerder, de context die hij heeft toegestaan te delen, en subject, een stabiele waarde die de leerder voor je app identificeert. Bewaar alles wat je per leerder opslaat onder subject. Een knop op je kaart stuurt een actie, en je server beantwoordt die met een nieuwe kaart. De pagina kaarten somt alles op wat een kaart kan bevatten.

De adapter koppelen

De adapter van de kit leest het ruwe verzoek, controleert de handtekening, roept je functie aan en schrijft het antwoord. Serveer hem op het adres dat de render_url van je manifest noemt. Lingara roept alleen HTTPS-adressen op het publieke internet aan.

Installeren op je eigen account

Kies op de pagina Apps van de console ervoor de app op je account te installeren, kies wat hij mag zien en bevestig. Open het scherm Lesplannen op een breed scherm, of de homepagina op het web, en je kaart verschijnt.

De OAuth-client van je app ontvangt ook events, zoals een lesplan dat klaar is. De gids over webhooks en events in de API-referentie beschrijft ze.
