How Lingara teaches
A lesson plan is a sequence of exercise sets, written by a language model against the vocabulary of the level you picked and checked before it is used, then shared into a pool that other learners of the same language and level are taught from. That is why deleting your account does not delete the plans: the text stays in the pool, unlinked from you, because withdrawing it would take away a lesson someone else is part-way through.
A flashcard carries its own next-review date. Answer it well and the gap before you see it again grows; miss it and the card resets to one day and comes back tomorrow. So the deck you open each day is the cards that are due, not the whole set — which is why five minutes most days beats an hour on Sunday.
The tutor answers questions about the words and sentences on your screen, in the language you speak rather than the one you are learning. Alongside your conversation it records only a fixed list of actions — which reply you opened, what you replayed, when you turned on the microphone — and those records never contain anything you type or say.

You learn from your own language: the app and every explanation appear in any of the 31 languages this site is written in.
Do I need an account?
No. Your browser can generate vocabulary without one, which is the quickest way to see whether Lingara suits you. An account is what keeps your progress: it saves your words, unlocks flashcards, and carries a language across devices.
What does the free plan include?
1 lesson plan a day, the first 4 levels, and flashcards — and every new free account starts with a 7-day Plus trial, with no card asked for. Plus raises that to 5 lesson plans a day, opens every level, adds the AI tutor and removes the ads.
Can I use it on my phone or computer?
Yes. Lingara runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, on the same account. Install it from the browser and it gets its own icon and opens in its own window, like any other app.
Are there ads?
On the free tier, yes: after a finished exercise set, lesson plan or flashcard review, and below vocabulary results on the website. An ad is never shown while you are answering an exercise or talking to the tutor, and Plus subscribers see none at all.
