API version 2026-10-affable-towhee

The Lingara API is versioned by name, in the form yyyy-mm-adjective-noun. The /v1 in every path never changes: the version decides what a call accepts and returns.

Your client's version

A client is pinned to the version that was current when it was created, and a call made with any of its access tokens and no version header is answered at that version. The client's owner can re-pin it to another supported version on the Integrations page, at app.getlingara.com/admin; its access tokens use the new version from their next exchange.

A version for one call

Send Lingara-Version: <id> with a call to use that version instead of the pin; the response echoes the version it used. The development version can be reached only this way, and it may change without notice.

How a version ages

A version you can pin is supported, and one kept for longer is lts. A deprecated version still answers, with Deprecation and Sunset headers on every response, and it ends no sooner than 90 days after it is deprecated. A discontinued version is refused with 410 and the code api_version_discontinued.
